A total of 31 seats

The 1994 European elections in the Netherlands took place on June 9, 1994 as part of the EU-wide election of the European Parliament . The Dutch elected 31 of the 567 members of the European Parliament.

Result

The Christian Democratic CDA was able to maintain its position as the strongest party before the Social Democratic PvdA. This suffered the greatest losses of all parties. Both the liberal VVD and the left-wing liberal D66 were able to claim third and fourth place with significant gains. In addition to the joint list of Christian conservative parties, GroenLinks was also able to move into the European Parliament.
