European Academies Science Advisory Council
The European Academies Science Advisory Council ( EASAC ) is an association of national science academies of member states of the European Union as well as Norway and Switzerland that has existed since 2001 . EASAC prepares opinions, reports and popular scientific publications on current socially relevant topics in the fields of energy, environment and life sciences and sends them to the institutions of the EU.
