Eutelsat 7B (formerly: Eutelsat W3D and Eutelsat 3D) is a commercial geostationary communications satellite owned by Eutelsat . The satellite is based on the Spacebus 4000 platform and was built by Thales Alenia Space .

After its launch on May 14, 2013, the satellite was positioned at 3 ° East to free Eutelsat 3C for a new use. Eutelsat 3D supplied Europe, North Africa and the Middle East with digital TV and radio programs in direct satellite reception.

After Eutelsat 3B, which was launched later, took over traffic from Eutelsat 3D on July 5, 2014, it was moved to the new position 7 ° East to support Eutelsat 7A . There the satellite was given the new name Eutelsat 7B.
