Eva Maria Jost (born October 1, 1990 in Hamburg ) is a German actress .

Life

After graduating from high school, Jost completed an acting training at the School for Drama Hamburg from 2009 to 2012 and has since played in various independent theater projects in Hamburg and Berlin . The daughter of an educator and a master car mechanic, who grew up in Gütersloh , was in 2013 in the diploma film "Zerrumpelt Herz" by Timm Kröger in a leading role in front of the camera. The film celebrated its world premiere at the Venice International Film Festival . In the same year she played the role of Gisela in Christian Frosch's feature film From now on, no turning back , which premiered at the Oldenburg International Film Festival, alongside Victoria Schulz . In 2014 Eva Maria Jost made her stage debut in Berlin. In the piece "MEAT" by Thomas Bo Nilsson, which took place as part of the FIND Festival at the Schaubühne on Lehniner Platz , Jost played the role of Michelle Weber. Furthermore, she played a small role in the film "Death to the Hippies, Long Live Punk" by Oskar Roehler . Also in 2014, Jost made her television debut alongside Boris Aljinovic in the Tatort " Maybe " by Klaus Krämer.
