Eyyübiye is a city district founded in 2014 in the Turkish province of Şanlıurfa . It emerged from a division of the central city district ( Merkez ). Eyyübiye includes the southern parts of the city of Şanlıurfa with the neighboring villages and has 363,943 inhabitants. In addition to the city of Şanlıurfa, the municipality of Uğurlu and 114 villages belong to Eyyübiye. Şanlıurfa Airport and Harran University, founded in 1992, are also located in Eyyübiye .
