Bozova ( Kurdish : Hewenc or Heweng ) is a city and at the same time the name of a district in the Turkish province of Şanlıurfa in southeastern Anatolia . The city of Bozova has 12,657 inhabitants and the district 58,575 (as of 2008). Bozova is located in the northwest of the province and borders the Adıyaman province .

The majority of its population is made up of Kurds; Arabs, Turks and Turkmens are a minority.
