F & M -

F & M (short for men and women ) is the second studio album by the German - Swedish Metal - duo Lindemann consisting of Till Lindemann and Peter Tägtgren .

history

For the play Hansel and Gretel , staged by Estonian directors Ene-Liis Semper and Tiit Ojasoo , which premiered in the Thalia Theater in Hamburg in spring 2018 , Lindemann and Tatgren wrote a total of six songs, of which it was omnivorous , blood , gag , sleep and Who knows who made it onto the album later. During the performance, Lindemann was projected on a screen placed in the background as a video for the songs.

At the end of 2018, Lindemann published the song Mathematik together with the Offenbach rapper Haftbefehl , which was released as a single and a music video followed. On the studio album, however, arrest warrant as an interpreter was waived.

On September 13, 2019, the group released the single Stand Up . The single I don't know followed on October 18, 2019 and Knebel on November 1, 2019 . Music videos were released for all singles. The music video for Knebel , however, was only broadcast once uncensored on a selected video portal.

The album was released on November 22, 2019, followed a day later by the music video for the song Frau und Mann .

In an interview with Rolling Stone , Lindemann announced that Tatgren had already completed the instruments for a possible third album and that only the lyrics would be missing.
