Fabian Lichottka

Fabian Lichottka (* 1993 in Herdecke an der Ruhr ) is a German actor .

Life

Fabian Lichottka attended the Schiller-Gymnasium in Witten . Since October 2015 he has been studying acting at the Alanus University for Art and Society in Alfter . He will finish his training there in August 2019. He attended acting courses and coaching at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), at the Schauspiel Köln with Niklas Kohrt and at the acting agency “Die Gasstelle” in Berlin .

In a student production by Marat / Sade in 2017, Lichottka took on the role of Marquis de Sade, directed by Michael Barfuß , whom he played as a “wonderfully authoritative and cynical rhetorician”. Already during his studies Lichottka made guest appearances at the Deutsche Oper Berlin (2017), at the Theater in der Brotfabrik in Bonn (2018) and at the Labortheater Dresden (2018). In March 2018 he played the main character Winston Smith in a stage version of the novel 1984 in the Bonn bread factory. With this production he also performed at the Freie Werkstattt Theater in Cologne in November 2018 . In the 2018/19 season he will be a guest in Candide or Optimism (director: Simon Solberg ) at the Schauspielhaus Bonn . In the 2019/20 season he is engaged as a guest at the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe and the Salzburger Landestheater .

In addition to his work at the theater, he worked in various cinema and TV productions. In November 2017, he was seen as wheelchair user Dennis in several episodes at the side of Tim Oliver Schultz and Dominik Buch in the VOX series Club der rote Bänder . In the 5th season of the TV series In all Friendship - The Young Doctors (2019), he took on the serial role of the "casual", homeless Alex Lange in several episodes, who simulates symptoms of an exotic disease so as not to be discharged from the hospital again and later secretly billeted in the hospital. The short film Mir sich so strange (director: Jannik Gensler ), in which Lichottka plays the leading role, took 1st place in the “Young Professionals” category at the Hessian Youth Media Festival visionale 2018. In the 44th season of the ZDF crime series Der Alte , which will be broadcast from March 2020, Lichottka, alongside Gaby Dohm and Lola Dockhorn , took on one of the episode roles as a nursing assistant in an upscale retirement home.

Lichottka lives in Cologne.
