Fabian Schubert (born August 29, 1994 in Eisenkappel-Vellach ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Schubert began his career at VST Völkermarkt . In 2008 he moved to AKA Carinthia ; after two years he went back to Völkermarkt. In his five years with Völkermarkt he became a regular player and goalscorer. In 2015 he was signed by SV Ried . He made his debut in the 2015/16 ÖFB Cup against SV Innsbruck . In that game he scored a goal.

After relegation from the Bundesliga, he switched to the amateurs of Bundesliga club SK Sturm Graz for the 2017/18 season . However, he made his first appearance for the pros in the first game of the season when he came on for Christian Schulz in the 80th minute of the Europa League qualification against FK Mladost Podgorica .

In August 2018 he switched to league competitor TSV Hartberg . After the 2018/19 season he left Hartberg and moved to the second division club FC Blau-Weiß Linz , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2020.
