Career

As the daughter of Helga and the native Tamil Sivabala Nadarajah, she grew up in a sports-loving family. She attended the commercial school for competitive sports in Vienna. Her older sister Dominique introduced her to swimming at an early age, but at the age of twelve she switched to tennis and cricket . In cricket, her father played a key role in establishing this sport in Austria in the 1980s, she was vice European champion with the U-15 national team. In 2000, when she was 15, she returned to swimming. After several years of training at SVS Schwechat , she joined the SC Nadarajah founded by her sister in September 2011.
