Falkirk West is a constituency for the Scottish Parliament . It was introduced in 1999 as one of ten constituencies in the electoral region of Central Scotland and has remained unchanged since then. It covers the western areas of the Falkirk Council Area . The largest cities within the constituency boundaries include Falkirk itself, as well as Larbert and Denny . The constituency sends a representative.
The constituency extends over an area of 104.2 km 2 . In the 2011 census survey, a total of 77,532 people lived within its borders.
