Family network

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The family network was an initiative of the “Familien e. V. “a German interest group of individuals, associations, foundations and other smaller family-political, Christian-conservative groups as well as life rights movements . The seat was Hollern-Twielenfleth and existed from 2005 to 2014. Critics alleged that the family network had a creeping infiltration of the media, political conservatism and an out-of-date view of the family based on “long-ago research”.

history

The network was founded in July 2005 at the suggestion of the pediatrician Maria Steuer, chairwoman of the “Familien e. V. "and" Familie Direkt e. V. “, initiated to create a lobby for small children as well as for adults, who understand family as the nucleus of our society.

The supporting association families e. V. had around 250 paying members at the beginning of 2007; the family network comprised more than 45 different organizations. According to its own information, the family network was financed from donations and the voluntary work of the networkers and saw itself as independent and non-partisan.

In the political discussion of state all-day schools , day nurseries and childcare outside the family on radio, television and the press, the family network took a critical to negative position.
