Before the 2015 regional reform, Fatucalo had an area of 33.52 km². Now it is 32.85 km². The Suco is in the northeast of the Turiscai administrative office. To the southwest lies the Suco Lessuata , south of Matorec . In the northwest, Fatucalo borders on the administrative office of Lequidoe, which belongs to the municipality of Aileu, with its Suco Faturilau , and in the east of the administrative office of Laclubar, which belongs to the municipality of Manatuto, with its Suco Fatumaquerec . The river Aibeli flows along the western border until it flows into the Lana at the border with Faturilau . This later becomes the Eratihama clean . The rivers are part of the Northern Laclós system .

There are no major roads connecting the Suco with the outside world. For example, for the parliamentary elections in East Timor in 2007, the ballot boxes had to be brought to the polling station in the Escola primaria Fatucalo by helicopter and then picked up again. The largest place is Lisuata on the western border of Fatucalo. There are two primary schools and a makeshift helipad in the Suco.

The two Aldeias Darufu and Ermori are located in the Suco .
