Beremana is an East Timorese place, Aldeia and Suco in the Turiscai administrative office ( Manufahi municipality ).

The place Beremana is located in the west of the Sucos, at an altitude of 1148  m .

808 inhabitants live in Beremana (2015), of which 428 are men and 380 women. The population density is 64.0 inhabitants / km². There are 110 households in the Suco. Over 91% of the population name Mambai as their mother tongue. Almost 7% speak Tetum Prasa , while small minorities speak Isní or Makasae .

Before the 2015 regional reform, Beremana had an area of ​​13.59 km². Now there are 12.63 km². The Suco is to the west of the Turiscai administrative office. To the north are the Sucos Manumera and Turiscai , to the east the Sucos Matorec , Foholau and Orana , south of the Suco Mindelo and southwest of the Suco Aitemua . Three source rivers of the Sui meet here. The Sui is a tributary of the Caraulun .

There are no major roads connecting the Suco with the outside world. For example, for the parliamentary elections in East Timor in 2007, the ballot boxes had to be brought to and from the polling station in Escola Primaria Beremana by helicopter. The larger settlements are along a small road that runs from north to south across the center of Sucos. These are Fahilebo ( Fahilebu ), Beremana and Dalubo ( Delubo ).

The three Aldeias Beremana , Dalubo and Fahilebo are located in the Suco .

politics

In the 2004/2005 elections , Hermengildo Casmiro L was elected Chefe de Suco. In the 2009 elections won Orlando Soares .
