biography
Club career
Pari began his career in his hometown of Bellaria-Igea Marina with AC Bellaria Igea Marina and scored four goals for the club's professional team in his first season. After one season he moved to Inter Milan and stayed there for two years. At Inter he was champion for the first time, but remained without commitment, because his debut was only a year later on March 22, 1981 against US Pistoiese . However, this was his only competitive game for Inter and therefore he went from there to AC Parma , who was playing in Serie C at the time. He stayed there for two years before going back to Serie A to Sampdoria Genoa . He remained loyal to Sampdoria for nine years and celebrated his greatest successes there. In its second season with Sampdoria, the team won the Coppa Italia , as well as in 1987/88 and 1988/89. The cup victories enabled Sampdoria to participate in the European Cup Winners' Cup , where the team reached the final in 1988-1989 and won the cup in the 1989/90 season after defeating RSC Anderlecht . In the following season Pari was champion for the second time in his career after he was able to win the first Scudetto for Sampdoria with the team . Therefore, Sampdoria took part in the European Champions Cup next season and made it through to the final, where the team lost just 1-0 to FC Barcelona . Pari moved to SSC Napoli after this season and played with the team in the UEFA Cup , where the team failed in the second round at Paris Saint-Germain . In Serie A, the team was rather mediocre, was able to participate in the UEFA Cup again in the 1994-1995 season and failed there in the third round at Eintracht Frankfurt . Pari left Naples after another season and moved to Piacenza Calcio and was fourth tenth with the club in Serie A in his only season there. After a season in Piacenza, he went to SPAL Ferrara and rose to Serie C. He then stayed in Serie C for two years, but played there for FC Modena before ending his career.
Managerial career
Shortly after the end of his career, he became the sporting director of US Brescello in 2000 . In 2002 he started working as Technical Director at AC Parma in collaboration with Arrigo Sacchi . After giving up his job at Parma, he still worked at Sampdoria Genoa , AS Bari , Spezia Calcio and FC Modena .
