Fedrigoni is Italy 's largest fine paper manufacturer and has its own subsidiaries in Germany , Austria , England , France , Spain , Benelux and Asia as well as sales partners in over 100 countries worldwide. The family company was founded in 1888 and is owner-managed in the fifth generation by Alessandro Fedrigoni. Fedrigoni produces and sells around 520,000 tons of paper (including adhesive paper ) per year and has 10 production sites in Italy, Brazil and Spain.
Company history
In 1888, Giuseppe Antonio Fedrigoni founded the Fedrigoni paper mill in Verona, where the company's headquarters have been since then. The original papermaking tradition of the Fedrigoni family can be traced back to 1724, when Giuseppe Fedrigoni established the San Colombano paper mill in Trambileno , Rovereto . In 1938 the paper mill in Varone was taken over and in 1963 the paper mill in Arco was founded. The three plants merged in 1979 to become Cartiere Fedrigoni & CSpA. Through intensive investments, Fedrigoni also expanded in the field of paper processing, founded Arconvert in 1989 and in 1993 took over Manter SA, both production facilities for adhesive papers. In 2002 Fedrigoni acquired the historic Cartiere Miliani Fabriano paper mill, which, among other things, produces paper for the Italian euro note . In 2004 the company "Fabriano Securities" was founded. Four years later, the first Fedrigoni branch was opened in Asia ( Hong Kong ). A processing plant was also built in Fabriano. Arconvert has had a production facility in São Paulo , Brazil, since 2009 - Fedrigoni's first overseas production facility. In 2011 the original Fedrigoni Holding, Cartiere Fedrigoni & CSpA merged together with the production companies Fedrigoni Cartiere, Fabriano and Fabriano Securities to form Fedrigoni SpA
Fedrigoni Germany
In 1987 the first German sales branch of the Fedrigoni Group was founded with its own warehouse in Munich ( Unterhaching ). The name of the German agency at that time was "Zenith Feinpapier Handelsgesellschaft mbH". Since 1999, the German subsidiary has been called Fedrigoni Deutschland GmbH , the name being adapted to its Italian parent company, Fedrigoni SpA. Further locations followed in Düsseldorf / Hilden (1995), Frankfurt / Langen (1999), Berlin (2008) and Hamburg (2008). In November 2010, the German headquarters moved from Unterhaching to the new headquarters in Oberhaching, which was officially opened in July 2011.
Fedrigoni Austria
Fedrigoni Austria GmbH was founded in Vienna in 2010, and the sales office with showroom was opened in 2011.
