Ferdinand Lammers
Johann Wolfgang Ferdinand Lammers (born May 5, 1795 in Bayreuth , † February 10, 1855 in Erlangen ) was a German lawyer and mayor.
Life
Lammers grew up in Bayreuth. After graduating from high school, he studied law at the Friedrich Alexander University in Erlangen . In 1812 he became a member of the Baruthia Corps . He became mayor of Erlangen in 1828 and remained in this office until his death. In 1829 he initiated the establishment of a savings bank in Erlangen. In 1848 he was elected as a member of the Frankfurt National Assembly, where he belonged to the Landsberg parliamentary group .
