action

Bank director John Valera is a man of the world, a great looking man from head to toe. Tired of his business, one day he abandons everything, leaves his place of work in Berlin and travels incognito to Italy, where he wants to relax and spend holidays like never before. As his travel budget begins to shrink more and more, Valera is not too bad to take on various jobs and earn his living as a jazz trumpeter, house servant, chauffeur and assistant to a gang of thieves.

Meanwhile, at home in Berlin, you're in a state of excitement. John Valera is accused of fraud on a large scale, he is said to have embezzled several million DM. In distant Italy he has no inkling that he was the victim of clever deceivers. Rather, Valera enjoys the southern sun and also gets to know the woman of his heart with the sophisticated Kristina Bajonova. Things get rolling when Valera's sister Gaby travels to Italy. It soon becomes clear why John actually left his bank. In this way he wanted to track down the people behind the large-scale fraud, with whom Kristina, who also turns out to be penniless in the end, was connected - his authorized officer turns out to be a thief. As John's future, she emerges from this affair purified.

Reviews

Paimann's film lists summed up: "Based on a commercial literature template, a strip was created under conventional direction that only distinguishes the better cast from the Legion more similarly and ... makes it reasonably entertaining for the general public."

"A piece of dream factory with lots of colorful postcard images."
