The Fischbach is an almost ten kilometer long left and west tributary of the Gersprenz in the Darmstadt-Dieburg district in Hesse .

The Fischbach rises on the eastern edge of the Modautal - Lützelbach location , just east of the 405 meter high transition into the Modau valley system , flows through some districts of the Fischbachtal community named after it in a general north-east direction and flows into the Gersprenz near Groß-Bieberau .
