The Langenlonsheim airfield is a special airfield in the Rhineland-Palatinate municipality of Langenlonsheim on a flat plain. The airfield is approved for powered aircraft with a maximum weight of up to 2 t, helicopters , powered gliders , gliders and microlights .

Platzhalter is the second largest aviation club in Rhineland-Palatinate with around 250 members, the Aero-Club Rhein-Nahe. The Aero Club emerged in 2007 from a merger of the two clubs Aero-Club Bingen-Langenlonsheim and Flugsportverein Bad Kreuznach.
