The airfield Schweighofen is a special airfield in Schweighofen near the French border, which is operated by the Franco-German Aero Club Schweighofen-Wissembourg eV.
Allows engine aircraft , motor gliders , gliders and ultralight aircraft on the classified as a special airfield airfield prior approval (PPR) land.
In the summer months, the club house is catered for on weekends.
At the west end of the airfield is the parachuting club FSC-Südpfalz, with active jumping operations almost every Friday to Sunday. Licensed parachutists as well as "pedestrians" (tandem jump) can jump here. The jumpers also have their own clubhouse with hot meals.
