Fly Blue Crane ( fly blue crane in its own right ) was a South African airline based in Johannesburg and its home base at OR Tambo International Airport .

The airline was founded in 2014 and made its maiden flight on September 1, 2015. Operations ceased in March 2017.

Destinations

As of May 2016, the airline served the airports OR Tambo ( Johannesburg ), Kimberley ( Kimberley ), Bram Fischer ( Bloemfontein ), Cape Town ( Cape Town ) and Hosea Kutako ( Windhoek , Namibia ).

In mid-May 2016, the company provided daily connections from Johannesburg to Maputo Airport in Mozambique and to King Mswati III International Airport. known in Swaziland .

The company suspended operations from February 2017 for the purpose of restructuring and developing a rescue plan; all machines in operation at that time were returned to the lessor.
