Star Air Cargo is a South African airline based in Johannesburg and based at OR Tambo Airport .
history
Star Air Cargo was founded in 1996 and initially operated cargo flights for DHL and FedEx with smaller aircraft . Gradually, it began to operate scheduled flights and phased out its smaller aircraft and replaced them with Boeing 737s . As a result, it no longer operated its own scheduled flights, but leased its fleet to other airlines.
Destinations
Star Air Cargo leases or has leased its aircraft to Air Malawi , Air Namibia , Air Tanzania , South African Express Airways and Zambian Airways, among others .
