history

CemAir was founded in 2002 and started operations with a Cessna 208B Grand Caravan . Little by little, larger aircraft were added to the fleet. In 2011 the Grand Caravans were taken out of service.

At the beginning of February 2018, a flight ban was imposed on CemAir, which was lifted a little later. On December 13, 2018, Cem Air was grounded again . After the company had challenged the authorities' decision in court, it received the flight license back. The airline was grounded again on January 11, 2019. In October 2019, it again received all the necessary licenses to operate charter and scheduled flights.
