The Flyeralarm GmbH is an online printing company based in Würzburg . The company specializes in the production and sale of printed matter . The printing company is wholly owned by the founder Thorsten Fischer and is present in 15 European countries.

history

Thorsten Fischer founded Flyeralarm in 2002 and processed print jobs that were received online. However, it was initially printed at other printing companies. With three employees, Flyeralarm generated sales of more than 250,000 euros in its first business year. Four years later, Thorsten Fischer bought the first of his own printing machines . 20 large format and 10 medium format printing machines are now part of the company's repertoire. Thorsten Fischer and Tanja Hammerl have been sharing the management of Flyeralarm since 2007. The number of employees has grown to more than 2,400. Sales in 2019 were around 385 million euros. In Germany, the company now has eight production sites in Main Franconia and in the greater Dresden area . In addition, the company has a stake in Druckhaus Mainfranken and other smaller businesses. Flyeralarm also has offices in Austria , Italy , Spain , Poland , Great Britain , the Netherlands and France . It is produced exclusively in Germany.

Products

The company prints posters , flyers , stationery , calendars , brochures , invitation cards , business cards and glossy magazines with a high degree of automation . Orders are placed almost exclusively over the Internet ; in some large cities, orders can also be placed in shops. The whole process is standardized. Production is carried out using what is known as the collective printing process: Various uses are arranged on the sheets of paper so that as little paper as possible remains unused.

Sponsorship

Flyeralarm has been the name sponsor of the women's Bundesliga of the German Football Association (DFB) since the 2019/2020 season . The online print shop has been a premium partner of the women's national team and perimeter advertising partner of the men's senior and U21 national teams since 2013.

In March 2013, the naming rights to the stadium of FC Würzburger Kickers eV were taken over and renamed the flyeralarm arena . In Austria, the company has been active as a breast sponsor at FC Admira Wacker Mödling since 2012 . In 2017 the club was officially renamed FC Flyeralarm Admira and the company name was incorporated into the logo. At the outsourced football department, Admira Wacker Professional operating GmbH , which is Flyeralarm Future Labs GmbH with (as of March 2018) involved around 20 percent. Felix Magath has been the head of Flyeralarm Global Soccer since January 2020 .

The company was the title sponsor of the Flyeralarm- Ruder-Bundesliga and supported the world champion in long-distance open water swimming Thomas Lurz and the German squash champion Simon Rösner as well as the basketball players of the Bundesliga club FC Bayern Munich (basketball) as so-called premium partners. Since the 2016/2017 season, Flyeralarm has also been the official sponsoring partner of the Alpine Audi FIS Ski World Cup.
