history

In the 19th century the " Pölla-Gemeinde " (Pölla-Alpe) was still part of the Forstboden area. As a cadastral area (tax municipality) - since around the 1820s - the forest floor belongs to Kammersberg, while the Pöllau forms its own cadastral municipality. Officially and statistically, however, Kammersberg and Forstboden zu Pöllau are counted in reverse.
