The Seeser Mining Landscape Nature Reserve is located in the Oberspreewald-Lausitz district in Brandenburg .
The area with the identification number 1113 was placed under nature protection by ordinance of January 16, 1997 . The approximately 892 hectare nature reserve extends northeast of Groß Jehser , a district of the city of Calau . The A 13 runs to the west, the L 52 state road to the south-west and the L 55 to the east. The 140-hectare Schönfelder See lake extends to the north-west .
