The nature reserve Peickwitzer Teiche and Schwarzbacher Heide lies in the area of the district town Senftenberg in the district of Oberspreewald-Lausitz in Brandenburg .
The area with the identification number 1572 was placed under nature protection by ordinance of January 16, 2010 . The approximately 133.6 hectare nature reserve extends south of Peickwitz , a district of the city of Senftenberg, and southeast of the core town of the community of Schwarzbach . State road L 581 runs along the northern edge of the area .
