The Innerer Oberspreewald nature reserve is located in the districts of Dahme-Spreewald , Oberspreewald-Lausitz and Spree-Neisse in Brandenburg .

The 5744.8 hectare nature reserve, which was placed under nature protection by ordinance of September 12, 1990 , extends between the cities of Lübben (Spreewald) in the north-west and Vetschau / Spreewald in the south-east. The B 87 runs along the north-west corner of the area and the L 513 state road at the south-east corner .
