The Mahnigsee-Dahmetal nature reserve is located in the area of ​​the municipality of Halbe and the town of Märkisch Buchholz in the Dahme-Spreewald district in Brandenburg .

The area with the identification number 1246 was placed under nature protection by ordinance of January 6, 1998 . The approximately 330 hectare nature reserve extends southwest of the core town of Märkisch Buchholz along the Dahme , a tributary of the Spree . The state road L 74 runs through the area. The B 179 runs to the northeast and the Oderiner See extends to the east .
