The Oder-Neisse nature reserve is located in the area of ​​the towns of Eisenhüttenstadt and Guben and the communities of Neißemünde and Neuzelle in the Oder-Spree and Spree-Neisse districts in Brandenburg .

The area with the identification number 1416 was placed under nature protection by ordinance of June 16, 2004 . The approximately 593 hectare nature reserve stretches along the Oder and Neisse rivers between Eisenhüttenstadt in the north and Guben in the south. The B 87 runs to the west and the state border with Poland to the east .
