The Schlaubetal nature reserve is located in the Oder-Spree district in Brandenburg .

The area with the identification number 1229 was placed under nature protection by ordinance of April 10, 2002 . The 1504 hectare nature reserve, in which the Kleine Treppelsee and the 36.5 hectare Wirchensee are located, extends west of Kieselwitz , a district of the Schlaubetal community , along the Schlaube . The B 246 and the state road L 43 run through the area, the L 452 runs to the south-east. On the north-eastern edge is the 71 ha large Treppelsee .
