The Fradinhos (the " little monks ") are a group of basalt rocks south of the Azores island of Terceira .

They are located about 4 km south of Porto Judeu and about 3.5 km southeast of the Ilhéus das Cabras . The Fradinhos are the tips of an eroded volcanic cone that protrude up to 8 m from the water . They are located in a sector of the Farol da Ponta das Contendas lighthouse that is painted with red light , as they pose a danger to shipping.
