Franz Max Broudre (born June 15, 1852 in Saaz , Bohemia ; † May 27, 1907 ibid) was a Bohemian lawyer , city ​​council member , deputy mayor, savings bank director and district chairman (local politician).

Life

Broudre was born in Saaz as the son of the economist and landowner Max Broudre and Josepha Frank (daughter of the captain and commander Joseph Frank). Broudre graduated from high school in Saaz and Prague in 1870 and studied at the German university in Prague. In 1875 Broudre received his doctorate "Doctor of all rights". After practicing as a lawyer in the law firm of Constantin Ritter von Schönfeld in Saaz, he opened his own law firm in 1881. In the same year he founded the German Political Association as well as one of the first local groups of the German school association and married a daughter of the long-time Saaz city councilor Karl Wüstl and Maria Wüstl née Broudré. In 1882 he was elected to the Saaz community committee and was the first city councilor. This office was reassigned to him in three terms.

Broudre is the great-grandson of Sebastian Bruder (Broudre) an officer and inn owner in Strasbourg and Catharina Kayser was born in Luxembourg, both of whom died in Graz in Styria. As early as 1887, Broudre, as chairman of the German Political Association, held a plenary meeting in which a sharp resolution against anti-Semitism was passed.

Broudre died of a sudden heart attack in the presence of his brother-in-law. On May 29, 1907, he was buried in the family vault in Saaz.

The Broudre family grave and their relatives (21 people) have been in the family for over 200 years today (2019), and the year of JUDr. Franz Max Broudre engraved the year 1851. Colonel Karl Broudre Edler von Goruszów (Broudre-Goruszow), last commandant of the IR 92, is buried in the family crypt.
