Franz Carl Stradal

Carl Stradal (born November 7, 1847 in Teplitz , Northern Bohemia ; † July 10, 1901 there ) was a Bohemian lawyer and president of the Aussig-Teplitz Railway .

Stradal was born as the first child of six siblings in Teplitz, the son of the lawyer Franz Joseph Ignaz Stradal and Maria Anna Johanna Stradal nee. Daublebsky von Sterneck . His father died in an accident in Chiemsee in 1879 . His brother was the piano virtuoso August Stradal .

Stradal studied law at the University of Leipzig and was reciprocated in the Corps Guestphalia Leipzig in 1866 . In 1879 he married Emma Broudre (Broudré) in Teplitz, a daughter of Emanuel Broudré (Broudre) (* 1814 Saaz; † 1879 Prague), imperial councilor, wholesale merchant, assessor at the Imperial and Royal Commercial Court in Prague. Emanuel is an uncle of JUDr. Franz Max Broudre in Saaz (today Žatec ). The marriage to Stradal had six children. His son Carl H. Stradal (1885–1949), also a lawyer, married a daughter of the Lieutenant Field Marshal and Commandant of the Imperial and Royal Infantry Regiment "Archduke Rainer" No. 59 Victor Ritter Meduna von Riedburg and Langenstauffen-Pyllwitz (* 1847 Josefstadt, Krs. Königgrätz , Austrian Empire ; † 1924 Teplitz , Czechoslovakia ). Stradal's wife Emma is the sister of Anna Zietkiewicz geb. Broudre (1852–1873), wife of Major General Alfred von Zietkiewicz (1843–1906)

Stradal was buried next to her husband on July 12, 1901, and his wife Emma Broudre, who proved herself for many years as chairwoman of the women's local group Teplitz († 1934). Numerous condolences about the death and loss were published in 1901 in newspapers. The Stradal / Broudre family grave is still maintained today (2019).
