On January 1, 2016, Friardel was incorporated into the new municipality of La Vespière-Friardel as part of a regional reform together with the neighboring municipality of La Vespière .

geography

Friardel is located in the Pays d'Auge . Lisieux is located around 21 kilometers north-northwest of the village . The northeastern Bernay is about the same distance. The Orbiquet flows through the eastern part of Friardels.
