Frieder Henf
Frieder Henf (born December 30, 1943 in Neustadt in Holstein ) is a German lawyer who worked in public offices in the Federal Republic of Germany .
From 1987 to 1988 he was deputy government spokesman for the state of Schleswig-Holstein after the Barschel affair and from 1991 to 1998 played a key role in the development of the administration of the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania , most recently as State Secretary in the Ministry of Economic Affairs. From 2001 until the transfer to a new business development structure in 2009, Frieder Henf was a managing board member of the technology region KERN Kiel / Eckernförde / Rendsburg / Neumünster. He was chairman or member of numerous supervisory boards, u. a. the Treuhandliegenschaftsgesellschaft ( TLG ) and VEAG in Berlin .

Frieder Henf was born as the son of Kiel naval officer Kurt Henf and his wife Gertrud during the evacuation due to Allied bombing raids on Kiel in Neustadt in Holstein. Frieder Henf and his wife Elisabeth, b. Illner, four children.
education
After graduating from the Kiel School of Academics in 1963, he served in the Bundeswehr from 1963 to 1965 , which he left as a major in the reserve. From 1965 to 1969 Frieder Henf studied law and political science in Kiel and Freiburg , in 1969 he passed the first state examination and in 1974 the second state examination. In 1977 he was awarded a doctorate at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel ( equity and civil court argumentation ). jur. PhD. He remained connected to legal training as a member of the judicial examination offices in Schleswig and Hamburg (since 1981) and Schwerin (since 1992) and was a lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences for Administration and Services (FHVD) in Kiel- Altenholz.
Professional career and public offices
From 1974 to 1977 Frieder Henf worked as a judge at the Kiel Regional Court and the Plön and Preetz District Courts . From 1972 to 1980 he was an honorary member of the municipal council of the Kiel suburb of Raisdorf , today's city of Schwentinental . Most recently, as mayor, he accompanied the expansion of what is still the largest special area for large-scale retail ("Ostseepark") in Germany. After moving to the Schleswig-Holstein state administration, he worked in the Ministry of Justice from 1977 to 1980, in the Ministry of the Interior until 1985 and in leading positions in the state parliament administration until 1987 . After the death of the Schleswig-Holstein Prime Minister Barschel , Henf was appointed deputy government spokesman for Schleswig-Holstein in 1987 . In addition to his professional qualifications, as was the case with the President of the State Sports Association Hans Hansen , who was appointed government spokesman, it was crucial that Henf was unaffected in the so-called Barschel affair . The illustrated Superillu was convicted by the Berlin Regional Court on the basis of claims to the contrary .
From the new elections in 1988 to 1991, Henf worked in the Ministry of Justice of Schleswig-Holstein , from where he was seconded in 1991 to set up the state administration in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . As head of the general department in the Ministry of the Environment, at the request of the state government in Schwerin, he changed to the administration of the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, the Henf subsequently as Deputy State Secretary in the Ministry of the Environment, as Deputy State Secretary in the Ministry of Building and Regional Development and most recently until 1998 served as State Secretary in the Ministry of Economic Affairs. He played a key role in the settlement of companies in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and the privatization of former state-owned companies.
In addition to his professional activity, Frieder Henf was chairman or member of numerous supervisory boards, including a. the Treuhandliegenschaftsgesellschaft (TLG), the Ihlenberger Abfallentsorgungsgesellschaft (IAG) and the VEAG in Berlin . As a co-founder, he is the partner of the law firm Dr. Henf & Partner with locations in Kiel , Hamburg and Preetz . From 2001 until the transition to a new business development structure in 2009, Henf was a managing board member of the technology region KERN Kiel / Eckernförde / Rendsburg / Neumünster.
Henf is a member of the Kieler Kaufmann club. He volunteers for Lions (President of the Lions Club Kieler Förde 2009/2010 and 2017/2018) and for the works of regional artists from Schleswig-Holstein (support of the Fritz During Foundation and various exhibitions on the work of Ekkehard Dekkert, most recently in the Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Kiel and in the Caspar von Saldern House in Neumünster).
