Manfred Ahne (born June 2, 1961 in Selb ) is a former German ice hockey player .

Career

Coming from the offspring of VER Selb , he first came to his home club in the first team in the 1978/79 season and rose with the club in the 2nd Bundesliga in 1980/81 . After financial problems in Selb he moved - first on loan - in 1982 to Rosenheim for the sports association DJK Rosenheim in the ice hockey Bundesliga . He stayed in Rosenheim after voluntarily withdrawing to the 2nd Bundesliga in 1992/93 , before moving within the league to EC Kassel for the 1993/94 season in the summer of 1993 and staying there for the 1994/95 season after the introduction of the DEL . In the summer of 1995 he moved back to Selb for ERC Selb in the first division . After the 1999/00 season , he moved from Selb to ESV Bayreuth for his last season in 2000/01 .

For the German national ice hockey team he took

part.

He played 82 international matches, 39 of them at world championships.

With the SB Rosenheim became German champions in the 1984/85 and 1988/89 seasons .

As a trainer, after the re-establishment of the VER Selb, he joined the gang of wolves. He led the VER from the 04/05 season through the district and state league in the Bayern league. There he was replaced by Bernd Setzer in the 08/09 season.
