Friedrich Hennig

Friedrich Hennig (born October 20, 1949 ) is a German surgeon and university professor .

Life

Hennig studied medicine at the Friedrich Alexander University in Erlangen . With a gynecologic - endocrinologic work his doctorate he 1976 Dr. med. Trained as a specialist in surgery , he completed his habilitation in accident surgery in 1987 . As a private lecturer , he became chief physician of the III. Surgical department at the Altona General Hospital selected. He promoted Rüdiger Döhler and was close to Horst Janssen and Günther Wand . In 1994 he returned to Erlangen as C3 professor and head of trauma surgery .

As a reserve officer in the Bundeswehr medical service , he reported to the German Somalia Support Association . For fleet doctor conveyed the reserve, he was after the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami to the combat support Berlin in Banda Aceh . As a sports physician , he was the club doctor of 1. FC Nürnberg from 2007 to 2011 . He was a drum doctor for Corps Onoldia and looked after the SpVgg Greuther Fürth with his clinic . He has been retired since 2019.
