Friedrich Müller (administrative officer)

Friedrich Müller (born December 14, 1802 in Westhofen near Worms; † February 11, 1863 in Bensheim ) was a German judge and civil servant and Hessian district administrator.

Friedrich Müller was the son of the justice of the peace of the canton Bechtheim , Moritz Müller and his wife Caroline Moerdes. Müller, who was a Catholic denomination, married Maria Theresia Ludovica Thecla, born Molitor (* 1810 in Mainz, † March 6, 1849 in Alzey) in Mainz in 1834, the daughter of the magistrate of the peace in Mainz Burkard Molitor and Ursula Küster.

Friedrich Müller studied law and in 1832 became a justice of the peace in Pfeddersheim , then in Alzey . In 1835 he became a district councilor in Alzey . After the March Revolution , the counties were abolished in the Grand Duchy and replaced by administrative districts. With this, Friedrich Müller resigned as a district councilor and became a government councilor in Darmstadt in 1850 . In 1852 the districts were re-established and Müller became district councilor in Friedberg . From 1859 to 1863 he was a district councilor in Bensheim , where he died in service.
