Friedrich Küchler (administrative officer)

Friedrich August Küchler (born February 22, 1799 in Darmstadt ; † May 30, 1866 in Gießen ) was a Hessian administrative officer, member of parliament and politician.

Life

Friedrich Küchler was the son of the government councilor Georg Karl Küchler and his first wife Sybille Phillipine nee Lehmann. He married Ida Henriette Alwine, née Bastian (1807–1866) , on August 8, 1829 in Offenbach am Main .

Friedrich Küchler studied law . During his studies in 1816 he became a member of the honor mirror fraternity , the old Heidelberg fraternity and the Gießen general fraternity Germania . After completing his studies, he became a court clerk in Darmstadt. In 1822 he became an assessor at the regional court of Zwingenberg and in 1828 a regional judge at the regional court in Offenbach .

In 1832 he became a district councilor in the Friedberg district . After the March Revolution in 1848, the districts were abolished and administrative districts were created instead. Friedrich Küchler became the conductor of the government commission of the Gießen administrative district . In 1852 the districts were re-established and Friedrich Küchler became district councilor in the Gießen district .

In 1853 he became a secret councilor and in 1860 director of the provincial directorate in Offenbach. In 1861 he became a Privy Councilor and a member of the State Council .

From 1856 to 1862 he represented the constituency of the city of Friedberg in the Second Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .
