Anita Schneider
Anita Schneider (born August 19, 1961 in Jugenheim an der Bergstrasse ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and the first district administrator in Hesse .
Life and work
Raised in Bickenbach on the mountain road , graduated Schneider after high school to study political science with minors in economics, law and sociology at the Ruprecht-Karls University in Heidelberg and at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main , which they 1990/91 graduated with a very good diploma in political science.
Schneider is married and has one daughter.
From 1992 to 1998 she was parliamentary group assistant in the Frankfurt SPD parliamentary group in the Römer . In 1998 Schneider moved to the city administration of Gießen as a personal advisor to the mayor Manfred Mutz . From 2002 to 2005 she took over the investment management department in the finance department of the city of Giessen. In 2005, Schneider moved to the Frankfurt city council as a consultant for the social affairs officer Franz Frey . From July 2006 until she took office as District Administrator of the Gießen district in January 2010, she was in charge of a social council in Frankfurt.
In 2019, Anita Schneider was appointed by the federal government to the specialist commission on the framework conditions for integrability .
Public offices
Since January 21, 2010 Schneider has been the district administrator for the district of Gießen . In the direct election on June 14, 2015, the district administrator was confirmed in office with 62.1% in the first ballot.
