Karl Küchler
Georg Karl Küchler (born October 15, 1773 in Darmstadt ; † April 13, 1854 there ), also Georg Carl Küchler , was a Hesse-Darmstadt official and member of the state parliament.

Karl Küchler was the son of the hairdresser and valet Johann Peter Küchler (1729–1790) and his wife Anna Elisabethe nee Jankowski (from Prague). His first marriage was Sybille Philippine nee Lehmann (1779-1819). After the death of his first wife, he married his second wife Johanna nee Friedrich on June 26, 1820 in Offenbach am Main . The son from his first marriage, Friedrich (1799–1866), became a state councilor and member of the state parliament. The provincial director of the province of Rheinhessen and honorary citizens of Mainz, Friedrich Küchler and Ernst Ludwig, who became the Grand Ducal Tax Council, came from the second marriage .
Life
Karl Küchler became a government assessor for community and cultural affairs in Darmstadt in 1819. In 1815 he became a state economist, in 1817 a district councilor and in 1819 a government councilor. In 1824 he was a member of the commission for peat cutting and drainage work. The Küchlergraben near Griesheim was named after him. In 1832 he was provisionally retired.
In 1848 he became a member of the government commission of the Darmstadt administrative region . In 1852 he was appointed to the Privy Council . He was entrusted with the administration of the affairs of the Hofheim Hospital at the Darmstadt district office.
From 1826 to 1830 he was a member of the second chamber of the state estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse . He was elected in the constituency Starkenburg 4 / Seligenstadt-Babenhausen and represented conservative positions in the chamber.
