Heinrich Frank (judge)
Heinrich Karl Frank (also Franck ) (born February 4, 1805 in Biblis ; † March 28, 1878 in Darmstadt ) was a Hessian judge and member of the 2nd Chamber of the Land estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .
Heinrich Frank was the son of Mayor Heinrich Frank (1772-1854) and his wife Margarethe, née Reiss. Frank, who was a Catholic, married Margarethe, born Werle, on April 19, 1834 in Bensheim. Their son, Eugen Heinrich Frank (1832-1893), was a higher regional judge and a member of parliament.
He studied law and became a court clerk at the court in Darmstadt in 1828. In 1830 he moved to the district court of Steinheim as an assessor , in 1831 with a judicial vote to the district court of Seligenstadt and in 1835 he became assessor at the city court of Darmstadt . In 1836 he was promoted to member and councilor at the Darmstadt Court of Justice and in 1845 to the Appellate Court and Judge of Cassation at the Darmstadt Court of Appeal . In 1847 he was appointed Ministerialrat in the Ministry of Justice of the government of the Grand Duchy of Hesse , where he was appointed a Privy Councilor in 1857 and a Privy Councilor in 1867. In 1872 he was retired.
From 1839 to 1847 and again from 1851 to 1856 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency Starkenburg 4 / Seeligenstadt-Babenhausen and in 1851 in the constituency Starkenburg 2 / Darmstadt.
