Andreas Zöppritz
Johann Andreas Zöppritz (born September 26, 1760 in Darmstadt ; † April 28, 1826 there ) was a Hessian entrepreneur and liberal politician and former member of the 2nd Chamber of the Land estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Andreas Zöppritz was the son of the grocer Christian Heinrich Zöppritz (1728-1801) and his wife Maria Elisabeth née Emmerich (1728-1807). Andreas Zöppritz, who was a Protestant denomination, married Katharina Margaretha, née Schwarz (1774–1856), on May 29, 1794 in Darmstadt. The marriage produced six sons.
- Johann Jakob Christian Zöppritz (1796–1879, co-founder of the company Gebr. Zoeppritz ceiling factory in Mergelstetten) and member of the state parliament
- Johann Ludwig (Louis) Zöppritz (1802–1881), merchant and wool spinning mill owner in Darmstadt
- Georg Gottfried Zöppritz (1804–1892), co-founder of the company Gebr. Zoeppritz ceiling factory in Mergelstetten, landowner on Ganterhof near Ravensburg
- Johann Wilhelm Zöppritz (1806–1866), landlord in Fürstenberg near Paderborn, then to Burgstall near Rothenburg od Tauber

Andreas Zöppritz was a businessman in Darmstadt. There he founded a wool mill and a blanket and flannel factory in Pfungstadt .
politics
In the 1st and 2nd electoral periods (1820-1824) Andreas Zöppritz was a member of the second chamber of the state estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse. In the state estates he represented the constituency of the city of Darmstadt .
