Joseph Strigler

Johann Joseph Strigler (born October 29, 1773 in Mainz , † August 8, 1841 ibid) was a Hessian businessman, politician and member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Joseph Strigler was the son of the businessman Johann Andreas Strigler and his wife Magdalena Margarethe, née Kimmel. Strigler, who was a Catholic, was a merchant in Mainz and married Margarethe, née Becher. Their son Johann Michael Leonhard Strigler later also became a member of the state parliament.

From 1839 to 1841 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency of the city of Darmstadt .
