Christian Zöppritz
Christian Zöppritz , full name Johann Jakob Christian Zöppritz (born June 16, 1796 in Darmstadt ; † June 15, 1879 in Cannstatt ), was a German entrepreneur , liberal politician and at times a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Christian Zöppritz was the son of the entrepreneur and MP Andreas Zöppritz (1760–1826) and his wife Katharina Margaretha nee Schwarz (1774–1856). Christian Zöppritz, who was a Protestant denomination, married Maria Adelheid, born Hartmann (1805–1879) , on August 14, 1828 in Heidenheim .

Christian Zöppritz was co-founder of the Gebr. Zoeppritz blanket factory in Mergelstetten together with his brothers Georg and Karl .
politics
In the 10th and 11th electoral periods (1846–1849) Christian Zöppritz was a member of the second chamber of the state estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse. In the state estates he represented the constituency Starkenburg 2 / Groß-Gerau . In 1848 he was a member of the preliminary parliament .
