Karl Heumann (politician)

Karl Jakob Philipp Georg Heumann (born February 27, 1804 in Seeheim , † November 14, 1876 in Dornheim ) was a Hessian pastor and politician and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Karl Heumann was the son of the general treasurer and clerk Ludwig Christian Friedrich Georg Heumann and his wife Wilhelmine Philippe, née Gantzert. Heumann, who was a Protestant, was married. He was co-preacher from 1834 to 1850 and pastor in Dornheim from 1850 to 1876.

From 1856 to 1862 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency Starkenburg 2 / Groß-Gerau .
