Georg Philipps

Johann Georg Philipps (born September 12, 1774 ; † May 16, 1861 in Ginsheim ) was a Hessian landowner and liberal politician and member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Georg Philipps was the son of the inheritor Johann Georg Philipps. Philipps, who was evangelical, was hereditary in Ginsheim and married Anna Barbara nee Rauch († 1835).

From 1834 to 1834 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency Starkenburg 2 / Groß-Gerau . He was high school in Ginsheim.
