Beat Züsli
Beat Züsli (born June 8, 1963 in Beckenried , Nidwalden ) is a Swiss politician ( SP ). He has been mayor of Lucerne since 2016 .

Züsli was elected to the Lucerne City Council on May 1st, 2017 and Mayor of Lucerne on June 5th, 2017. Züsli was a member of the Lucerne Cantonal Council from 2015 to June 2016 , previously he was a member of the City Council from 1998 to 2009 . He is involved in tenant associations at cantonal and national level, for example B. as a board member of the Swiss tenants' association .
Life
A native Nidwaldner graduated after completing an apprenticeship as a draftsman , a study of architecture and trained to engineer power on. He has a son from his first marriage and lives with his partner in Lucerne.
